Restorative dentistry

Used to prevent the spread of tooth decay or correct any cosmetic damage, a filling is just one of the ways our dentists preserve your oral health. Before placement, any decay must be carefully removed. We offer local anesthesia to ensure maximum comfort for our patients. Our practice uses the latest type of filling material: composite resin, which can be color-matched to your natural teeth.

COMPOSITE RESIN

Because the color of a composite resin filling can be customized, it is the most aesthetically pleasing option. Composite resin is ideal for repairing chipped or cracked teeth, filling gaps between teeth, correcting dental discoloration, protecting exposed tooth roots due to gum recession, or reshaping teeth. Patients are often pleased to learn that we use composite resin for cavity fillings, as the material is bonded to the tooth in layers and typically requires less removal of the natural tooth structure.
